I'm open to music suggestions and ideas for the intro and outro. I also uploaded a Vimeo version for those who want to watch it but are not in the US.ĭon't forget to turn HD on for full sexiness.Īgain, any and all feedback is welcome. The youtube version is NOT viewable by those outside the United States. Kinda short but you had a lot of nice snipes. I was afraid that it was going to happen one of these weeks and it finally has. Were you sound -Yoink- or just lucky on Anchor 9 when the guy came up behind you and you ninja’d him Overall pretty good. Seriously, I dont want that -Yoink- in the middle of my aim. Next week, I'll have a full week on with my no slow controller and so maybe I'll get an overkill for the montage.Īs I posted earlier, there is an issue with the music I used and it's view-ability on Youtube. I dont want reach all over again with the text through my screen. Spoilers, no overkills this week I choked on a few, as per usual lol. Again, these clips have ALL been gathered in the past 7 days. I want to make sure I come up with a really good idea and execute on it well so that it'll last for me for however long I wanna keep doing these. I will eventually make a sexier intro and outro. Thanks to Juices for the sexy HD capture and thanks again to letters for the banner. I didn't have a solid opportunity to put something decent together and in the past few weeks so I waited until I can get a full effort at it. It reminded me of some things I missed (The Pit, Valhalla, the Warthog) but it also reminded me that there are things in Reach I love enough to not go back to 3 permanently. I want to go back to Halo 2's style of timing the rocket spawns and being rewarded for winning the struggle over power weapons.Īnd I did play Halo 3 yesterday. Its appearance is superficially similar to the Maybe Next Time Buddy achievement in Halo 3. Its name is a reference to Red vs Blue in which when a character steals something, they say 'Yoink'. The word Yoink is used on the Halo Bulletins and Halo Waypoint's forums to censor curse words, similar to Blam. Loadouts are a neat diversion, but I can get that from Call of Duty. The Yoink medal does not appear in Halo 4. We get the diversity of gameplay that Reach offers with the level playing field that defines Halo (to me). I think it's reasonable to test the MLG style of "Sprint at spawn but you can pick up AAs and have unlimited use until you die." I'm just trying to find a balance between the two extremes of "Unlimited AAs you get at spawn" and "No AAs ever". Now we have AAs slowly being removed from playlists, trending towards a select few because there are some nasty combinations (camo + sniper, evade + sword, armor lock + anything). I think they certainly accomplished that, but it's gone too far. When Bungie first started talking about Armor Abilities in Reach, they mentioned Equipment in Halo 3 as being neat but the one-time use meant people would often hold onto them and try to save them for later instead of using them freely.
